Wyrm sells nothing

This is worth saying first, because it is unusual. Nothing on this site is for sale. Every tool is a free download, or something you build yourself from the open source, on whichever platforms it supports. There are no orders, no payments and no stock, and so there is nothing to refund.

The project runs on voluntary donations instead (see the support page). A donation is a gift, not a purchase: it buys you nothing, comes with no obligation from us, and is non-refundable and irreversible once sent. Only ever give what you mean to give.

Open tools, private site

The tools are open source. Every tool Wyrm publishes is released on GitHub under the GNU Affero General Public License v3 (AGPLv3), so you may read, run, modify and share them under its terms. This website is a different thing. Its code is first-party and stays private, so please don’t scrape, clone or repackage the site itself. And the Wyrm name and logo are trademarks, not covered by the AGPL, so don’t use them to pass your own work off as Wyrm. Fork the tools freely; just don’t wear the name or lift the site.

Acceptable use

Don’t attack, overload, or try to break the site, and don’t use it for anything unlawful. Wyrm tools are built for defence, protecting your own devices and your own data, not for surveilling or harming other people. Use them lawfully.

No warranties & liability

The site and everything on it, including the open-source tools and guides, are provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, Wyrm isn’t liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the site, the tools, or anything you set up by following the guides. Nothing here limits rights you have that can’t be limited by law.

Links to other sites

This site and the field guide link to other people’s software and writing, often warmly. Those are not ours: we do not control them, we are not responsible for what they do, and a recommendation here is an opinion rather than a guarantee. Judge them on their own terms.

Availability

The site is provided as a free service with no uptime promise. It may be offline, moved, or changed without notice, and the tools may be updated or paused. Nothing here creates an obligation to keep any of it running.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Italy and the European Union. If part of them is unenforceable, the rest still applies.
