Block trackers in your browser.
Switch to Firefox or Brave and add uBlock Origin. One afternoon kills most of the watching that happens while you read the web.
Turn off your advertising ID.
It's a setting on your phone, and it's the leash that lets apps follow you from one to the next. Reset it, then switch it off.
Change your DNS.
Point your devices at a resolver that refuses to look up tracker and ad domains. Everything else works exactly the same; a lot of the spying just stops.
Cover what you're not using.
Tape over the cameras you don't need and unplug the microphones you didn't ask for. A lens you can see is a lens you control.
Distrust anything that needs an account to work.
If a thing you bought only runs while a company's servers are up, it works for them as much as for you. Keep the ones you can, replace the ones you can't.
